We begin training athletes as young as 8 years old. Our focus is on posture, flexibility, balance, stability, movement quality, and muscle activation. As well as preparation of young athletes for future strength and conditioning programs and coaches
We train athletes for all sports, of all ages.
Our programs adapt around and work with athletes who currently have a strength coach through their school or sport.
We also offer personalized programs for those who have never trained with a strength and conditioning coach.

The next steps in your health, fitness, or athletic journey is to get a baseline of where you currently are physically. We take a two-tiered approach to physical assessments; Establishing an individual profile, then measuring and evaluating physical performance
We begin with building an individual profile including your weight, pre-training photos, and circumference measurements.
Our assessments range from postural assessment, movement analysis, muscle length, muscle strength, muscle power, endurance, speed, quickness, and agility.
Once we have this information, we can determine the best path for each individual moving forward.
Now that you have identified your why, have created a personal profile, and have a baseline to which you can measure your progress; it is time to get started

I have coached every level of athlete from youth, high school, and collegiate, in all sports ranging from football, basketball, baseball, hockey, volleyball, diving, golf, track and field, cross country, sailing, and cheerleading. I have also trained non-athletes of all ages ranging from 8 - 85 years old.

It starts in the name. Root Strength and Conditioning embodies the idea of developing or rebuilding a strong physical and mental foundation dependent on each individual's training experience. We accomplish this by challenging consistency and training the basics of movement mechanics.
At Root Strength and Conditioning, we believe in efficient and effective training, that helps focus on building our strong foundation from the inside, out, and from the ground, up. Fundamental to our approach is a detailed understanding of human movement and how it relates to efficient functioning of the body. Before we begin any training program, we offer a movement evaluation that can help determine the direction of the program, and can inform individuals about physical imbalances, weaknesses, and possible movement disfunction.
With the range of experience as athletes, coaches, and trainers, this allows us to take a very personalized and practical approach to training in both small group and individual training settings. It is our goal to train any individual or group, based on where they currently are physically and document progress and improvements as goals are reached and surpassed.
